La Plagne kicks off the season with an evening that has all the makings of a major event. On 13 December, the resort awaits you at Plagne Bellecôte for an Opening Night designed as a popular mountain party, where holidaymakers, locals and seasonal workers come together to enjoy an electrifying DJ set and local tastings.
From 16h30, the atmosphere shifts into party mode. The DJ VINC, a well-known figure on the après-ski scene in La Plagne, opens the ball. His feel-good set, perfectly calibrated to heat up the atmosphere, kicks off the festivities with the solar energy for which he is renowned.
À 18h30, change of pace with Mystykal Cut, French Red Bull 3Style champion. His performance is set to be one of the highlights of the evening, with an explosive mix of hip-hop, electro and funk, underpinned by a formidable technique. An incisive style, designed to shake up Plagne Bellecôte.
À 20h30, the euphoria goes up another notch. The headliner Boris Way takes over the stage for an electrifying show, in the vein of his performances that fill the biggest festivals. A guaranteed build-up to the finale.
When 22h When the bell rings, the sky lights up: a firework display brings the evening to a close, transforming the resort into a veritable amphitheatre of light, in a natural setting that adds to the magic.
A tasting village
Between two sets, gourmets will find something to their liking in the Tasting Village, open from 4.30pm to 10pm. Local producers come together to showcase their creations.
La Distillerie des Aprilis offers gin, sapinette, cuvée spéciale, gentian and verbena. La Distillerie de l'Eau Folle unveils its local liqueurs and surprising cocktails. The Aprin genepi, a key reference, puts the mountains in a bottle.
La Miellerie Mercier is delighted with nine varieties of honey and a honey spread that's a hit with everyone. La Aime Canton Cooperative highlights Beaufort and Savoyard specialities.
Visitors will also come across teams from Mountain Riders, who are running an eco-responsible competition with a giant cigarette butt that won't go unnoticed. The idea is to raise awareness while having fun.
To keep you in the mood right to the end, there's a food court open all evening offering all the essentials: hot diot sandwiches, crozets, popcorn, hot drinks and soft drinks. There's something to warm you up between concerts or after a hearty tasting session.
La Plagne is thinking big to kick off the winter season: a festive, unifying and resolutely mountain-style evening to open the season in a convivial atmosphere. A not-to-be-missed event to get the winter off on the right foot, to the rhythms of DJ VINC, Mystykal Cut and Boris Way.
