From the heights of the Col du Noyer to the technical trails of the Grande Trace, from pastoralism to farmers' markets, the massif has a programme packed with discoveries and excitement. Here are the highlights not to be missed between June and September 2025.

L'Éterlou (5-6 July)
The 17th edition of L'Éterlou, the Dévoluy's flagship event, returns with mountain bike tours for all levels (13, 27, 33 and 45km) and a new feature: a 98km raid with 3900 D+, to be completed over one or two days. A friendly atmosphere, spectacular scenery and a sporting atmosphere guaranteed.

Festival de l'Image (17-20 July)
Photographers, nature lovers and the curious all come together for this year's event, dedicated to the theme of interaction. On the programme: photo competitions, masterclasses, nature outings, conferences and exhibitions in the wilds of the Massif.

Festival Musique en Dévoluy (17 July-21 August)
The oldest music festival in the Hautes-Alpes offers an eclectic programme in an exceptional venue: the thousand-year-old chapel of Mère Église. Every Thursday at 9pm, enjoy the rhythm of classical, jazz and world music.

Traditional and pastoral festivals
From the Feast of Saint Stephen (13 July) with games, food and fireworks, at the Fête de la Brebis (2 August) at Couttières, pastoral traditions are the order of the day all summer long. And don't miss the Day in the Alps (23 July) with meetings with breeders, tastings and pastoral events.
Altitude 1664 (29 June)
This cyclosportive race/rando offers a 79km route with a 2200m gradient, linking Dévoluy, Matheysine and Champsaur via the most beautiful little roads on the Col du Noyer. Discover it at your own pace or in competition.
Obiou Ultra Trail (26 July)
A 75km race with 4500 D+ starting from Saint-Disdier, either solo or in a two-person relay. The Obiou, the massif's legendary peak, is the backdrop to this spectacular event.

La Grande Trace Dévoluy summer (31 August-1 September)
Mountaineering and trail race in teams of two, over two days. 40 km and 4000 D+ between vertiginous peaks, chourums and technical passages. Harness and helmet compulsory, adrenalin guaranteed.

The Astronomy Village (13-14 September)
Conferences, workshops, events and open days at the NOEMA observatory on the Bure plateau. A rare opportunity to explore astronomy in one of Europe's most fascinating settings.
