The Tour de France
As the start is in Italy, Briançon will be the first French town to be crossed by the Tour 2024!

Please note the 2 JulyOn the 4th Pinerolo-Valloire stage, the cyclists will cross the Franco-Italian border to descend to Briançon via the Montgenèvre pass before crossing the Serre Chevalier valley from end to end. The Lautaret and Galibier passes then await them before the descent to Valloire.

Medieval Festival
In Briançon 28, 29 and 30 JuneIt's time for the 20th edition of the Medieval Festival. Wanderings, shows, stalls and the skills of period craftsmen are all on the programme for this now unmissable event, at the heart of the Cité Vauban.

Experience a moment out of time with the "Tous en scène" company, who are offering a new musical comedy this summer: A Thousand and One Nights - Aladdin and the Magic Lantern.
In the exceptional setting of the Remparts de Briançon, the orchestra of musicians, actors, dancers, singers and circus performers will combine talent and humour to bring you an enchanting show. 13 performances are scheduled between the 25 July and 13 August.
