Get your calves and your mind ready: the Red Bull 400 returns to Courchevel this summer for a 5th edition that promises to be another Dantesque event. Nestling at an altitude of 1,300 metres, the Olympic venue at Le Praz will be hosting one of the most intense events on the international sporting calendar this Sunday 13 July, on the legendary ski jump.
There's no time to warm up: right from the start, it's a brutal climb. The Red Bull 400 is not just another race: it's the equivalent of a 40-storey sprint, in the open air, using your legs alone, on an average gradient of 36 % with peaks of 78. You climb straight up a steep, grassy wall that never seems to end.
The event is open to solo (men and women) or mixed 4×100 m relays. Whether you're a trail runner, HIIT practitioner, crossfitter or simply a fan of extreme sensations, this is where your cardio will really be put to the test.

The Red Bull 400 is much more than just a race: it's a platform for all sportspeople who like to push their limits. It's a test of self-transcendence as much as it is of team spirit.
All in all, the atmosphere was supercharged, cheered on by the spectators and the DJ sets, between two shouts of encouragement from the stands.
Professionals and amateurs come together in the same corridor of effort, united by the desire to cross the finish line, sometimes on all fours, often drained, always proud.

The Praz jumping stadium is not just the stage for the feat. For the occasion, it is transformed into a festive base camp, with fitness activities, a bivouac at the foot of the mountains, an after-party under the stars and a firework display to round off the day.
It's also an excellent opportunity for families and groups of friends to come and cheer, admire and enjoy the action. The atmosphere is as friendly and open as the event itself.
