Olympic snowboardcross runner-up Chloé Trespeuch got her season off to the perfect start by winning the first stage of the World Cup in Les 2 Alpes on Sunday.
"I'm overjoyed and it's not often you win at home, and on top of that to win for a resort that went out of its way to take part in a great World Cup stage is huge, she confided after her victory during the round at Les 2 Alpes.
The public gave me the fire, a great support and the staff of the French team gave me all the energy. I had a great time, I managed to go fast, I enjoyed myself and I hope there will be more.
