The Col du Lautaret, a myth for snowkiting
The Col du Lautaret, nestling in the Serre Chevalier Briançon valley, has been a world reference for snowkiting for over 20 years.
Its strategic location, with generous snow cover and optimum wind conditions, makes it a favourite spot for riders of all abilities.

This sport, often compared to winter kitesurfing, uses a sail to tow a skier or snowboarder across the snow. The wind then becomes an ally, enabling you to go up slopes, launch yourself off impressive jumps and perform a series of aerial tricks.
The geographical features of the pass, at the crossroads of several valleys and meteorological influences, offer a diversity of slopes and orientations ideal for snowkiting.
It is also the highest French pass open to traffic in winter, making it easy to access training and competition sites.
