Briançon sees summer in orange! From 7 to 9 August, the colourful town will be hosting the third edition of the Arty Colors festival, with an explosive artistic programme, two unmissable concert evenings and a myriad of free shows all over the Vauban town. Three days of festivities, sharing and creations to discover with family, friends... or in the streets.
An edition under the sign of vitality
For this third edition, the colour orange has been chosen as the main theme: warmth, enthusiasm and energy will be the order of the day in a friendly, offbeat atmosphere.
More than 90 artists will be bringing Briançon to life with some twenty street performances: burlesque, dance, fire, world music, visual arts and unexpected happenings in gardens, streets and even on bicycles.

Among the festival's free nuggets: the gestural duo Germaine & Germaine, the funky escapism of La Dinamo, the poetic fire of Amor, the crazy clowns of Crâsse, and the burlesque Monsieur and Madame Couleurs.
Two exceptional evening concerts in the Parc de la Schappe
On 8 and 9 August, the Parc de la Schappe will be buzzing to the rhythm of a lively musical programme.
On stage, Deluxe and their frenzied electropop beats, the long-awaited return of FFF, the soaring electro-folk of Indus, the solar vibes of Julien Granel, the cosmopolitan intensity of Emel, the militant reggae of Danakil, and the fresh breath of Malaka, a female duo with a Creole soul.
Prices : 34 (1 day) / €62 (2 days) until 30 June, then €38 and €70. Free for under-12s (booking essential).
New for 2025: cooking and confidences with the artists
An unusual and intimate event this year: on 8 August at 11.30am, at La Chaumière 1934, there's "On en fait tout un plat", a gourmet rendez-vous where the artists swap the stage for the stoves.
For this first edition, the sisters of the group Malaka will be concocting a Creole meal while sharing memories, anecdotes and musical inspirations. A rare and tasty encounter, available on registration (capacity very limited).
A city transformed into a living stage
For three days, the festival takes over every corner of the town, from the Artaillauds garden to the cobbled streets, from the river banks to the stage in the Parc de la Schappe.
With shows, make-up workshops, visual performances, artistic encounters and wild concerts, Arty Colors is confirming its ambition to become the major summer event for the performing arts at altitude.
