The property market in Isère, particularly in the ski resorts, remains very buoyant despite a general slowdown in sales.
L'Alpe d'Huez stands out as the most expensive resort, with an average price of €6,919 per square metre on 1 November 2023, representing an increase of 4 % over one year.

Other resorts in the region also saw significant price rises, ranging from +2.9 % at Auris-en-Oisans to +6.3 % at Villard-Reculas.
An upward trend in 2024
The property market in French ski resorts in general continued to grow last year, with prices rising by an average of 3.5 % over the year, in contrast to the fall seen at national level.

This dynamism is even more pronounced in prestigious resorts such as l'Alpe d'Huez, where the upward trend continues this year, with a forecast increase of 4 % in existing properties and 8 % in new properties.

Despite a slight slowdown in transactions, the property market in the mountains, particularly in Isère, remains a solid asset investment option, offering prospects of continued price growth.
