La Trantsa farm - Back to basics at Le Chatelard
Perched at an altitude of 1,350 metres in the peaceful hamlet of Le Chatelard, the farmhouse La Trantsa has been brought back to life by Jennifer and Samantha, daughters of the founders. With 80 ewes, mature tommes, creamy yoghurts and the famous "Trantsa" with serac and rye bread, authenticity is not an empty word here. Visitors can get up close to the animals, chat with the breeders or simply enjoy a snack overlooking the peaks.

In 2025, a pioneering wine-growing project will be launched: 50 vines planted at an altitude of 1,950 metres in collaboration with a sommelier and a winemaker.
