This hike offers you the chance to explore splendid landscapes with a view over the 'arc' of the Vallée d'Abondance and Mont de Grange, while educating yourself on subjects such as fauna, flora and the mountain environment.
From the centre of the village of ChâtelThe best way to get there is to start on the Petit-Châtel road and follow it to its terminus, around 2km from the heart of the resort.

The path starts at the Tenne bend and climbs gently up the mountain side, through the forest to the Louennaz mountain pasture.
An arrival at Super-Châtel
Then turn right towards the Sur l'Ortaz mountain pasture. On this trail, you can admire magnificent panoramas and learn about mountain fauna, flora and ecology.

The trail crosses the Vorraz, Louennaz and Sur l'Ortaz mountain pastures before reaching Super-Châtel.
