It's a meeting as cult as its name slams into the dust on the trails: Mountain of Hell, or MOH for those in the know. From 20 to 22 June 2025, the 2 Alps will once again be shaking under the crampons of 1,400 drivers ready to throw themselves into the void, tyres in the snow, from the 3,200 metre high glacier. The finish line? The village of Venosc, 2,300 metres below. In between: chaos, fun, sweat and a route as infernal as it is legendary.
A race that defies the laws of gravity
Since 2000, the MOH has established itself as the absolute meeting place for lovers of speed and extremes.
The idea is simple: a massive start, at altitude, on terrain that combines snow, rock, roots, dust and scree. At the end? A ranking, yes, but above all a medal of bravery for all those who reach the bottom, standing on their pedals.
Far from being a simple sporting event, the MOH is a celebration, a test of endurance and friendship where the challenge of surpassing oneself takes on the air of a mechanical carnival. Those who have done it say it: you don't come back unscathed, but you want to go back.
New for 2025: E-Riders take on the E-MOH
This year, electrically-assisted mountain bikes will have their own race: the E-Mountain of Hell, with a specially adapted route and a separate start.

Same rules, same spirit, but a course designed for the specific needs of mountain bikes, with forbidden technical sections and a time barrier to be respected at the entrance to the Venosc red track. A way of opening up the event even more to new practices.
Place aux jeunes: MOH Kids does it again
Because hell starts early, children aged 9 to 14 will have their very own Mountain of Hell on 21 and 22 June.
A lighter version of the myth, but already very spicy, designed to introduce the seeds of champions to downhill mountain racing. A race that is attracting more and more young riders and could well reveal the future champions of tomorrow.
Stars at the start... and in the dust
As every year, the pros will be there, neck and neck with the amateurs. Kilian Bron, four-time winner of the MOH, is putting his title back on the line.
Facing him are Damien Oton, Antoine Vidal, Ben Deakin and Jeronimo Paez. In the women's category, multiple champion Emilie Serre will be defending her territory.
Above and beyond the times, it's a chance for fans to ride with their idols, exchange tips as they round a bend, or take a selfie of an epic crash.
