From Saturday 2 March the 3ᵉ editions of the Millet Everest Ultra Ski Touring in Courchevel will take place.
The challenge is to cover 9,000 metres of positive ascent on a course to reach the altitude of the summit of Mount Everest, 8,849 metres, as quickly as possible.

The challenge takes place over two days, from Saturday 2 to Sunday 3 March.
The first day starts at 8.00 am. Climbers have one hour to collect their numbers from the Alpinium car park, which is free for participants.
A night in a bivouac and 18 climbs on the programme
At 9.00 am, the climb begins, with the first 5,000 metres of ascent and 10 climbs in less than ten hours. At the end of the day, participants will be able to set up their bivouac.

On Sunday, the adventure resumes at 7.00 am. Candidates have eight hours to complete the last 4,000 metres of ascent without oxygen.
The top three finishers in the ranking of the best cumulative times over the 18 climbs take home a cash prize. The first-place climber takes home €500, the second-place climber €300 and the third-place climber €200.
