Skiing, concerts, waterslides, freestyle, and DJ sets at an altitude of 2,250 metres: Serre Chevalier will host the first edition of the OutdoorMix Winter Festival from April 2nd to 4th, 2027. A new event that aims to recreate the spirit of the great ski «spring sessions» of the 2000s.

À Serre Chevalier, the end of the season should no longer resemble a simple gradual closure of the slopes.

For Winter 2026-2027, the Hautes-Alpes resort is teaming up with OutdoorMix, a leader in festivals combining outdoor sports and contemporary music, to launch a brand new XXL event at the beginning of April.

For three days, riders, holidaymakers, concert-goers and mountain enthusiasts will come together around a concept that has now firmly established itself in the outdoor world: sliding during the day, partying in the evening.

A «Spring Break» Alpine style

The idea put forward by the organisers is clear: to revive the spirit of the great freestyle gatherings of the 2000s.

Spring snow, sessions with friends, music at the foot of the slopes, sunshine, car parks transformed into social hubs, approachable riders... The OutdoorMix Winter Festival aims to recapture that freer, more festive atmosphere that has long characterised the world of snow sports.

All within one of Europe's largest ski areas with its 250 kilometres of pistes.

The festival will take place in the Pontillas sector of La Salle-les-Alpes, with an event village set up at an altitude of 2250 metres at the arrival of the cable car.

Waterslide, snow pumptrack and freestyle on snow

On the sports front, the programme will focus on participatory and spectacular formats. Freestyle skiing, snowboarding, demonstrations, taster sessions and equipment tests will punctuate the weekend with a clear aim: to make the sport accessible even to holidaymakers who don't necessarily come to compete.
