Verbier<\/a> (Switzerland<\/a>) \u2013 A bike park, festivals perched facing the summits, Alpine journeys, local gastronomy, high-altitude yoga, and of course, mountain passes for cyclists\u2026 Summer 2026 is set to be particularly exciting in Verbier<\/a> and in the Val de Bagnes. Between authentic villages, glaciers, alpine pastures and international events, the Swiss destination wants to confirm its status as a year-round alpine benchmark.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new feature: the Verbier Express runs in the summer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is one of the big new features of the season. After several successful winters, the Verbier Express will also run in a summer version from 27 June to 19 September 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This direct service will link Geneva Airport to Le Ch\u00e2ble at weekends, with no changes needed at Martigny, and will include combined offers for train and cable car travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Verbier is thus continuing its shift towards a more accessible, car-free mountain, with a direct connection between the train station, cable cars, and the resort. In Le Ch\u00e2ble, the cable car that allows you to reach Verbier also operates every day from 5:10 am to 11:55 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It's impossible to talk about Verbier without mentioning cycling. With over 700 kilometres of routes, 88 mountain bike trails, and 9 downhill tracks, the Swiss destination confirms its status as a rider's paradise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
