Hautes-Alpes resort perched at an altitude of 1,850 metres, Orci\u00e8res-Merlette <\/a>The bicycle is at the heart of its 2026 summer season. Between new infrastructure, major events and the arrival of the Tour de France on July 23rd, the destination is asserting its position as a playground for all cyclists, from beginners to seasoned riders.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Orci\u00e8res, two-wheeled activities now form the backbone of the summer offering. Whether on the roads of Champsaur or the slopes of the bike park, the practice is available in all its forms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The recent awarding of the Accueil V\u00e9lo label to the leisure centre confirms this direction and is accompanied by a ramp-up in dedicated services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new ecosystem around cycling<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Among the new features, the Bike Caf\u00e9 Orci\u00e8res Cycling Team is establishing itself as a central hub. Across 400 m\u00b2, the venue combines a showroom, a consultation space, and nutritional support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abThe idea is to create a real base camp for cyclists.\u00bb<\/em> An actor in the project. A few metres away, a renovated flat even allows guests to stay right in the heart of this dedicated environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
