Just over three hours from Paris, La Bresse-Hohneck <\/a>cultivates a unique model. The largest resort in Eastern France, in the Vosges<\/a>, With a focus on reasonable prices, a real sense of welcome and a mountain that's easy to get to, it's perfect for families and weekend skiers alike.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Vosges, some resorts are lived without ceremony. You come here to ski, to breathe, to get back to the forest, without getting bogged down in too much machinery. La Bresse-Hohneck is one of them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set between 900 and 1,350 metres above sea level, it doesn't play the card of Alpine prestige or gigantism. Its strength lies elsewhere. Its proximity to the major towns in the north-east, its easy-to-understand ski area, its slopes for all abilities and its ability to keep things simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that's one of its main selling points. From Paris, Strasbourg, Nancy or Belgium, it's easy to get to the resort for a short break. This accessibility partly explains its success with families, beginners and skiers who want to enjoy the snow without organising an expedition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On site, the ski area offers 33 runs over 220 hectares, making it the largest in the Vosges mountains. The terrain is obviously nothing like that of the big high-altitude resorts, but the whole is coherent and well thought-out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
