Between Carnival, night-time freestyle shows, festive get-togethers on the snow front and solidarity events, the Savoyard village has a packed programme designed for families and mountain enthusiasts alike.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The festivities kick off on the weekend of 14 and 15 February with a Valentine's Day revisited in ski resort style. A special \u00abWelcome to St So\u2019\u00bb welcome, a heart hunt in the village, fun challenges and interactive activities will punctuate these two days, with a simple idea: to create memories, whether as a couple, with friends or as a tribe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 14 to 20 February, it's Carnival Week. For several days, Saint-Sorlin takes on a whole new look, with a fancy-dress parade through the village, festive snacks, ephemeral tattoo stands, a snow-front party and tours by Sorlinette, the local mascot, making for a joyous family interlude. Disguises are highly recommended. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Freestyle under the stars <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Another eagerly awaited highlight is the Big Air nocturnes. Every Tuesday during the school holidays, riders from the local association put on freestyle skiing and snowboarding demonstrations at dusk. Mascots, entertainment and a good-natured atmosphere are on the programme, with a focus on the very young... and their parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Torchlight descent<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Every Thursday, the snow front festival puts children in the spotlight. They join the French Ski School instructors for the traditional torchlit descent, followed by the instructors' dance, a fireworks display and a convivial moment over complimentary mulled wine and hot chocolate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also in the diary. On 19 February, Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves will be taking part for the third time in the solidarity operation <em><a href=\"https:\/\/petit-montagnard.fr\/en\/when-the-mountain-becomes-a-place-of-solidarity-a-look-back-at-the-resounding-success-of-the-2025-edition-of-the-ptits-flambeaux-little-torches-competition\/\">Les P'tits Flambeaux<\/a><\/em>.
