From 20 December to 2 January, the resort-village is rolling out a programme of family-friendly activities, combining Alpine traditions, gourmet delights and festive events on the snow front.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the school holidays, holidaymakers and locals alike are invited to share in the festivities, both in the heart of the village and on the slopes. On 24 and 31 December, the snow front becomes the epicentre of the celebrations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A festive village for Christmas and New Year<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As night falls, torch-lit descents light up the mountain, accompanied by ESF instructors and the mascot Sorlinette. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The festivities continue with fireworks, dances by the instructors and time for sharing over complimentary mulled wine and chocolate. On 31 December, the atmosphere is even more festive, with a DJ set to ring in the New Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the evening of 24 December, the magic also happens at Santa's Village. Set up in front of his chalet and his big fir tree, Father Christmas welcomes children in a magical atmosphere, with chestnut sales, hot drinks and farm animals, for a sweet and authentic interlude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Entertainment for young and old<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Families will also enjoy a seasonal show with <em>Punch and Father Christmas<\/em> on 24 December, and <em>Little tales from the elf<\/em>, These are scheduled for 25 December and 1 January, to prolong the spirit of Christmas with stories and moments of sharing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 31 December, Saint Sorlin d'Arves offers an original rendez-vous with the <em>New Year's Before<\/em> at an altitude of 2,400 metres. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>READ MORE:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/petit-montagnard.fr\/en\/saint-sorlin-darves-we-unveil-all-the-winter-news-in-the-sybelles-resort\/\">Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves: here's what's new this winter in the Sybelles resort<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>An oyster tasting organised with the Domaine des Sybelles, to celebrate the end of the year in front of the peaks, before heading back down to join in the village festivities. On 1 January, there will be a Happy New Year aperitif, to get the new year off to a smooth and convivial start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the festive season, the snow front will come alive every week from 24 December 2025 to 26 March 2026.
