From mid-December, the heart of the 3 Valleys is transformed into a fairytale setting, with illuminated chalets, frosted Christmas trees and streets scented with mulled wine. Once again this year, the Savoyard resort has put together a packed programme designed to thrill families, fill children with wonder and remind adults that magic does exist.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An ice show by Candeloro on 23 December<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The highlight of the week was Olivia Candeloro's grand creation, <em>The Sandman's daughter<\/em>, takes over the M\u00e9ribel ice rink for a unique evening. M\u00e9ribel organises a torchlit descent down the snow front, before a fireworks display that sets the valley ablaze.
