22 and 23 November 2025, Val Thorens<\/a> is celebrating its opening weekend, \u00abLa Grande Premi\u00e8re\u00bb, an event that has become legendary for all lovers of skiing and altitude. On the programme: skiing, equipment tests, festive entertainment, a raclette evening, mountain film screenings and even a one-man show. In short, everything you need to get back into the winter spirit and kick off the season with a smile. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first resort to open in the Three Valleys, Val Thorens promises a weekend of pure skiing and snowboarding, punctuated by the first descents of the winter and the new-found sensations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On site, the Place Caron test village will bring together more than 50 leading ski, snowboard, freeride and touring brands to present their new products for 2026. It's the perfect opportunity to try out the latest equipment, compare sensations and prepare for the season on the best possible basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
