The message is clear: every piece of rubbish collected counts. To mark World Clean Up Day, the Haute Tarentaise Community of Communes is renewing its commitment to raising awareness of environmental protection among the younger generation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year, despite the capricious weather, 440 pupils and their carers took part in five schools across the region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result: more than 337 kilos of waste collected in the participating municipalities. A clear demonstration of the impact that collective action can have, even on a local scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An expanded 2025 edition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This year, the campaign is getting bigger. Seven schools are joining the initiative to take part in this major clean-up operation: the Centre school, the Petite Plan\u00e8te school and the Sainte-Bernadette school in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, the Vulmix school, the Sainte-Foy Tarentaise school, the Tignes school and the Val d'Is\u00e8re school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
