From December 2025, skiers will be able to take a completely redesigned gondola lift to Roche de Mio (2,739 m), with the promise of faster, smoother and more comfortable access to high altitude.

The new line, equipped with 168 10-seater gondolas, will link Roche de Mio in two stages, followed by Les Glaciers (inaugurated in 2023), and will provide access to an altitude of 3,080 metres in less time. The result will be a better-distributed flow of passengers, less waiting on the snow front and a revamped experience.

A new route and an intermediate station

As a major innovation, the gondola will now stop at the Col de Forcle (2,273 m), before continuing its ascent. This intermediate station opens up new possibilities: easy return to Plagne Bellecôte and Belle Plagne, or switch to Champagny-en-Vanoise on the south side. In both summer and winter, it will offer a wider choice of itineraries and simplified access points.

READ MORE: Drone, courses...
