On Sunday 7 September 2025, the Petit Saint-Bernard pass will play host to the first edition of \"A Tavola\", an event celebrating Alpine cuisine in all its richness, combining pastoral traditions, Italian influences and contemporary creativity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 10am, the more sporty riders will be getting on their mountain bikes or ATVs for the Enduro Gourmand, a one-hour ride between La Rosi\u00e8re and the Col hospice, with a tasting of local produce at the finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you fancy a stroll, you can follow the \"Alpine Flavours\" walks, guided by FACIM, to discover the mountain plants that have inspired local cuisine for centuries, and leave with some original recipes to try out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>READ MORE:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/petit-montagnard.fr\/en\/a-life-closer-to-nature-they-have-swapped-the-ski-slopes-for-the-alpage-in-the-chapieux-valley-zoom-on-the-bergerie-de-la-fya\/\">\"A life closer to nature\": they have swapped the ski slopes for the mountain pastures in the Chapieux valley... Zoom on the Bergerie de la Fya<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The most eagerly awaited culinary experience will be led by Savoyard designer Perrine Bettin, in collaboration with chef Sophie Bornet from the Auberge-Restaurant de l'Hospice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Together, they will propose a <em>\"A taste experience immersed in the Alpine landscape<\/em>A unique sensory journey, where each dish resonates with the surrounding mountains. A unique sensory journey, to be experienced at 11am and 4pm (registration required).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">One last party before winter <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The event will also provide an opportunity to delve into the pass's thousand-year-old past, thanks to FACIM's guided tours.
