Discover Lo Terrachu, the must-visit restaurant in Tignes this summer!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Right on the edge of the lake, facing the mountains of <a href=\"https:\/\/petit-montagnard.fr\/en\/subject\/tignes\/\">Tignes<\/a>, <em>Lo Terrachu<\/em> cultivates the art of simple hospitality. In summer, the terrace is always busy: bikers passing through, regulars who've come to take a breath of fresh air away from the valley and holidaymakers looking for a friendly break all gather here for a no-fuss lunch, a musical aperitif or an impromptu barbecue evening.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The restaurant, one of the oldest buildings in the resort, is run by an atypical duo. <em>\"Originally, I wasn't a cook at all\".<\/em> says Thibaut Pomarat, who is now the restaurant's sous-chef. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>READ OUR DOSSIER -\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/petit-montagnard.fr\/en\/mountain\/our-stations\/\">\"Tignes, the sports resort par excellence\".<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A former snowpark builder and snow clearance machine driver, he joined <em>Lo Terrachu<\/em> almost by chance: an extra meal at the home of a friend, a former professional skier turned restaurateur. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\"One thing led to another and I learnt on the job, and now I've been in the kitchen for several years. <\/em>The daily menu changes almost daily, with grilled meats, generous salads and fresh mussels delivered every other day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A fresh and lively menu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\"We work a lot with meat, but we also do simple summer dishes. At lunchtime, we're around 25 euros, but in winter, when we go down to <a href=\"https:\/\/laqueuedecochon-tignes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">La Queue du Cochon<\/a>Our other address is more semi-gastro, around 35-40 euros.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" the place is vibrant. <em>\"We host barge concerts on Mondays and Thursdays, which creates a real dynamic\". <\/em>explains Thibaut. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img
