This historic district of Bourg Saint Maurice is about to undergo a revolution."},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/petit-montagnard.fr\/en\/subject\/bows\/\">Bourg Saint Maurice - Les Arcs<\/a>&nbsp;-<\/strong> <strong>Under the silent gaze of the former walls of the 7th Battalion of Alpine Chasseurs, the Alpins district is undergoing an unprecedented change. For a long time a simple space with an uncertain vocation, it is now becoming the scene of a double movement: that of a teeming cultural creation and a concrete response to the housing crisis affecting the Haute Tarentaise.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In two preserved buildings of the former barracks, the association \"\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/petit-montagnard.fr\/en\/so-that-everyone-can-push-open-the-door-to-have-a-coffee-discover-an-artist-or-take-part-in-a-workshop-whats-this-new-cultural-centre-in-bourg-saint-maurice\/\">La Friche Artistique et Solidaire<\/a>\u00a0\"is taking up residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A living and creative space designed to host artists' workshops, residencies, performances and experiments. Eventually, the aim is to turn it into a cultural hub open all year round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responding to the housing crisis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the change doesn't stop there.
