For all ages: the Plan de Tu\u00e9da nature reserve<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It's a nugget of biodiversity in the heart of the Alps: the Plan de Tu\u00e9da nature reserve covers 1,100 protected hectares, home to 545 plant species and almost 400 animal species. Black grouse, speckled nutcrackers, red-legged frogs and alpine dragonflies are just some of the animals that inhabit this peaceful area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Tour du Lac de Tu\u00e9da trail, 1.8km long with no change in altitude, is the perfect warm-up for all abilities, families included. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It's a demanding but unforgettable hike. The lakes of Mont Coua, perched at an altitude of between 2,520 and 2,820 metres, are revealed at the end of a 7-hour itinerary (20.4 km, 1,160 m D+) in a spectacular mineral setting. <\/p>\n\n\n

From the arrival of the Pas du Lac cable car, a balcony path follows the ridges towards the Col du Fruit, offering breathtaking views of the two valleys. The route, which is for fit walkers only, has some challenging sections, but is still accessible with good shoes and a bit of breath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
