1. L'Aventure Park: a suspended course for soaring to new heights

It's the star attraction of the summer.Inaugurated on 28 June in Val Claret, the Aventure Park will offer children from 1.30m a spectacular experience in the air: footbridges, perched huts, high apparatus and three zip lines (60, 80 and 120 metres) to fly over the Tignes Olympic plain. All in complete safety, of course. For the little ones (and the less adventurous), there's also a net course.

2. Trott' Gourmande: thrills and spills and a local break

It's the perfect way to explore the mountains in a different way. Handy and responsive, the Trot'tignes all-terrain electric scooter takes visitors on Alpine trails at up to 25km/h, effortlessly but with style. Special mention should be made of the ‘gourmet walk’ option (2 hours), which combines a nature trail with a tasting of local produce overlooking the peaks.

3. Plaine Olympique: a life-size playground

Just a stone's throw from the new adventure park, Val Claret is inaugurating the Plaine Olympique de Tignes, an outdoor sports complex designed to let off steam with family and friends. Beach volleyball, city stadium, petanque, teqball, synthetic football or giant chess... holidays are like an Olympics in a 100% Alpine setting.

4. The MyTignes card: ever higher... and smarter

The multi-activity card MyTignes has added a welcome bonus: access to the Perce-Neige funicular, which climbs over 3,000 metres to the Grande Motte glacier. At the top, a panoramic terrace and a gourmet break at the Panoramic restaurant await the contemplative.

5. The bike park steps up its game

Two iconic slopes are getting a makeover for the summer season. The first is the Fresse Tagada, a red with a playful temperament, completely redesigned in a spirit of flowtrail to help mountain bikers gain confidence and enjoyment. Then there's the Tarentaise Airlines - Commencal Track, an accessible and fun blue run that has become a must for all levels. Just goes to show that, even without skiing, Tignes remains a winter sports resort... all year round!
