\u00c0 Serre Chevalier<\/a>Summer begins at altitude. From 21 June, the ski lifts are back in service, offering privileged access to the summits, breathtaking panoramas and a wide range of activities, from the most gentle to the most sporting. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the summer season, eight ski lifts take it in turns to take hikers, mountain bikers, families and thrill-seekers to the heart of a magnificent high-altitude domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As soon as the Casse du B\u0153uf chairlift opens, the Bike Park kicks off its season with the first routes open to riders of all abilities. Then, from 28 June, the Ratier and Prorel gondolas, the Serre Chevalier cable car and the Grand Serre, Combes and Bachas chairlifts take over, until the resort closes on 31 August. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This wide-open approach means that the different sectors - Villeneuve, Chantemerle, Brian\u00e7on and Mon\u00eatier - can be linked up and a variety of itineraries explored on foot, mountain bike or even in an all-terrain wheelchair. Four lifts are accessible to people with disabilities, and family packages make access to the peaks more accessible than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thrills, great landscapes and shared moments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Serre Chevalier offers something for everyone. For those looking for a challenge, the Bike Park trails offer an exceptional playground with technical descents, fun modules and a brand new loop called Grand Serre Che': a spectacular route linking Brian\u00e7on to Mon\u00eatier via the passes, ideal for classic or electrically assisted mountain bikes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of unusual activities, Mountain Kart and downhill scooter descents offer exhilarating thrills, as does the giant zip line, which travels at almost 100 km\/h from the top of the resort. For a gentler version of the experience, hiking is a must: larch forests, flower-filled paths, marmot spotting and orientation tables offer a privileged contact with alpine nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also designed with families in mind, the Camp des Marmottes - accessible by cable car from Chantemerle - is an open-air area where children can climb, run, jump and even learn to spot marmots with a spyglass. This is also the starting point for the Sentier des Lutins, an easy, fun loop for a gentle introduction to hiking. And because a holiday in the mountains also means taking time out, picnic areas equipped with planchas and deckchairs invite you to relax in front of the peaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
