Faced with the challenges of climate change and new visitor expectations, the D\u00e9voluy <\/a>is taking a decisive turn. Since 2020, a vast project to redevelop the ski area has been underway, based on a vision of a sustainable future that respects the environment. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supported by a number of strategic studies, the resort has defined a roadmap that combines sobriety, attractiveness and efficiency. The principle is simple: adapt rather than expand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project rejects any new artificial development and any demand for additional water. The aim is not only to preserve natural resources, but also to ensure the long-term resilience of skiing at altitudes of over 1,900 metres, where natural snow cover remains more reliable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Better links, better reception<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The project is also designed to meet the challenge of internal mobility: it will eventually provide an efficient link between the two tourist centres of La Joue du Loup and Superd\u00e9voluy, while also serving major infrastructures such as the O'dyc\u00e9a centre and the sports centre. Fewer cars, more teleport: a dynamic in favour of soft mobility and more fluid tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u00e9voluy doesn't just want to consolidate its image as a ski resort: its ambition is to become a four-season destination, capitalising on its unique assets. Astronomy, pastoralism, karst landscapes, caving, outdoor sports... These unique features will form the pillars of a new, diversified tourist offering that is fun, educational and accessible to all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A four-stage project<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Phase 1: from autumn 2025<\/strong>
Replacing the Jas chairlift with a more modern, more accessible gondola lift, the starting point for the transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phase 2: in 2026<\/strong>
Reorganisation of the artificial snow system with the relocation of the installation on the Chamois piste, technical link-up with the Seille and creation of a beginners' area at the arrival of the gondola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phase 3: in 2028<\/strong>
Construction of a new gondola lift from La Joue du Loup, arriving at the same level as the Jas lift, to link the two sectors of the resort and optimise access to the high-altitude ski area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phase 4: in 2030<\/strong>
Creation of an infrastructure at the junction of the two gondola lines: a unique space dedicated to the discovery, observation, education and contemplation of the area, with a focus on scientific tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
