From 21 to 23 March 2025, Serre Chevalier is gearing up for an extraordinary weekend of crazy events, unusual challenges and grandiose festivities. For its 6ᵉ edition, the Grand Prix de Serre Chevalier is expecting 2025 participants ready to take on one obstacle after another on a course as crazy as it is spectacular.

With over 2,000 skiers and snowboarders in fancy dress, the Grand Prix retains its status as the world's biggest gathering of amateur skiers.

READ MORE: Serre Chevalier: resort, ski area, ski passes, activities... Winter 2025 guide

Whatever your level, everyone is welcome to join in the fun on two courses packed with wacky obstacles.

There are two categories:

And here, style counts as much as performance! Wacky costumes are almost compulsory, and every year the participants compete with each other to come up with outfits that are as eccentric as they are hilarious.

Every year, the organisers compete to come up with ever more original challenges. And for this 2025 edition, the programme looks set to be totally crazy.

New features include references to Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland and Asterix & Obelix, alongside events inspired by local features such as 'Le Baise-main', a reference to the hamlet of Le Bez, and 'Hot Alpes'.

Among the great classics, participants will be able to look back on unmissable challenges such as the "shitty combo", the "awkward parallel" and the legendary "Operation Jackson", which again this year promise memorable falls and guaranteed laughs.

But the big news is the change of finish area, which will now be at the foot of the Pontillas in La Salle-les-Alpes. This change opens the door to four new stages and even more spectacular sections!

The Grand Prix de Serre Chevalier isn't just a race, it's three days of festivities and a unique opportunity to round off the winter season in style.

As every year, iconic figures from the world of skiing and music will be taking part in the event. This year, Arthur Bauchet will be in the spotlight with a special event dubbed "Le boss des bosses".

For his part, boardercross specialist Pierre Vaultier has come up with a pumptrack, a boardercross and a labyrinth to spice up the race even more.

As for the atmosphere, Belgian DJ Henri PFR, a regular at the biggest festivals (Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Lollapalooza), will be thrilling festival-goers with an electrifying set on Saturday night.

And Mosimann, having set the scene for the 2024 edition, is back this time... as a participant! But never far from his turntables, he'll be doing a DJ set on Sunday afternoon to round off this memorable weekend.

Practical information and registration:

A legendary race open to all
