The largest ski area in the Southern Alps, Serre Chevalier<\/a>\u00a0is also one of Europe's largest ski areas. Stretching over three villages as far as Brian\u00e7on, it's a magical playground for winter sports fans.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New products not to be missed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In January 2025, the Serre-Chevalier valley will welcome its very first mountain refuge: the Cl\u00f4t des Vaches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Situated at an altitude of 2,250 metres in the Cerces massif, it will have a capacity of 30 beds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Altitude Jazz Festival<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 16 to 25 January, locals and holidaymakers alike will be able to take part in concerts all over the resort, in special venues and bars in the valley, as well as on the slopes.<\/p>\n\n\n

The ski area<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Serre Chevalier ski area covers 410 marked hectares. It includes 60 ski lifts and 80 ski runs (14 green, 25 blue, 28 red and 13 black), 80 of which are at an altitude of over 1,800 metres.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Grands Bains de Mon\u00eatier<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Need to relax? Then head to the last village in the valley, Mon\u00eatier-les-Bains. This pretty, picturesque village has been home to \"Les Grands Bains\" for some years now, a spa and balneotherapy area with naturally hot water gushing out at 44\u00b0C.
