In less than three months, winter sports fans will finally be able to enjoy the first snows. Les 2 Alpes opens its winter season on Saturday 30 November. Here we take a look at what's new this year. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While most resorts will be closing their doors well before spring arrives, at the 2 Alps<\/a>The winter season will run until 4 May. Among this season's key innovations, preparations for the new Jandri 3S cable car<\/a>. Signed by the manufacturer POMA, this project, one of the most ambitious in the French Alps in the last ten years, will replace the old Jandri Express, in service since 1985. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new infrastructure will link the resort (1,650 m) to the top of the slopes at 3,200 m in just 17 minutes. It promises an unprecedented customer experience, with improved capacity and optimised accessibility for all, including people with reduced mobility. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Budget holidays, trail...<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This season, skiers will also be able to discover new offers for budget holidays, particularly outside the peak periods of December, April, May and June. A perfect opportunity to take advantage of less crowded slopes and attractive prices on rentals and ski passes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most eagerly awaited events of the winter season will undoubtedly be \"Les Lumi\u00e8res de la Muzelle\", a trail event organised on Saturday 11 January 2025. In a magical atmosphere, as the sun sets, participants will have the chance to set off on snow-covered courses of 8km, 10km, 21km or even a 42km marathon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether you're an amateur or an experienced runner, this race is an opportunity to challenge yourself while admiring the beauty of the winter landscape.
