What's new<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Tourette theme trail has just been inaugurated! Starting at the Pic de la Tourette, this educational trail allows hikers to discover a listed site and stunning landscapes, while at the same time conveying a message about environmental issues. To complete the project, illustrators, writers and landscape architects have been involved in the scenography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outdoor activities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Disc Golf<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You read that right! This hybrid activity uses the codes of golf transposed to freezbee. Instead of holes, there are baskets, and that's it! The curious can try it out on the Ludette track and on the Pla d'Adet training area.<\/p>\n\n\n

Patou interpretation trail<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This pedestrian and woodland trail runs for 3 kilometres between Pla d'Adet and the Espiaube area. With its 12 educational panels on the fauna, flora and traditions of the valley, it's a charming and fun place for the whole family to discover.<\/p>\n\n\n

Acrobatic course<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After trying your hand at suntubing, those big buoys in which you can launch yourself 120 metres downhill, why not take a trip to the acrobatic course? This multi-activity area, accessible from the age of 4, is similar to an accrobranche course, with high structures (suspension bridges, ropes, etc.) to cross independently.<\/p>\n\n\n

Events not to be missed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Tour de France arrives at Pla d'Adet<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the eve of Bastille Day, July 13, the Tour de France peloton will conclude its first Pyrenean stage in Saint-Lary and the Pla d'Adet, after kicking off in Pau. A total of 152 kilometres of racing, finishing with the Col du Tourmalet, the Hourquette d'Ancizan and the climb to the Pla d'Adet. A tribute to Raymond Poulidor, who crossed the finish line here fifty years ago. <\/p>\n\n\n

Le Campilaro<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For its 9th edition, the Campilaro unveils a tight, dynamic route to challenge cyclists from around the world on the Pyrenean passes. From 19 to 21 July, cyclists will cover 330 kilometres, alternating between timed climbs and signposted and supervised links.<\/p>\n\n\n

The KBourre<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before the holidays come to an end, Saint-Lary-Soulan will be hosting the KBourre on 31 August and 1 September, a timed downhill mountain bike competition organised by the Team No Mazout association. A great way to challenge yourself one last time on a black piste.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Ridin'Park, launched last summer, is an introductory area for mountain biking at all levels. Young and old alike can take part in a programme tailored to each individual, with specific sessions such as a handling course, learning the basics of riding and practice on varied terrain for novices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rioumajou Hospice<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Need to get away from it all and get a bit of height? Then head to the Hospice du Rioumajou, nestling at an altitude of 1,600 metres! This bar\/restaurant, which also doubles as a 24-bed refuge, has been awarded the Esprit Parc national label, which recognises its local roots and commitment to the environment. To get there, go to the Fr\u00e9dancon car park, for lunch or dinner. The menu features bistronomic dishes based on local produce. In summer, concerts are organised every Thursday at aperitif time.<\/p>\n\n\n

How do I get to Saint-Lary?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The resort is served by the A10, A20 and A64 motorways, after which you can take the departmental road 929 to Saint-Lary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By plane<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tarbes - Lourdes - Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es international airport is 80 kilometres away, Pau-Uzein 100 kilometres or Toulouse Blagnac 150 kilometres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By train<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The nearest station to Saint-Lary is Lannemezan. You can then catch the coach connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
