To meet the growing demand from people looking for activities that are more in tune with nature and the living world, particularly to reduce stress, the Courchevel resort has created and inaugurated in 2023 the \"contemplation trail\", focusing on well-being, meditation and yoga.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \"sentier des contemplations\" starts on the banks of Lac du Praz. Peaceful and welcoming, this new trail has been designed to provide a powerful and comforting experience of well-being. Free to use and enjoy, the trail winds through the Mateigena forest, dotted with lakes and clearings, taking in the breathtaking scenery of the Tarentaise peaks on the horizon.<\/p>\n\n\n

Visually guided by signs, the trail can also be accompanied by audio using a QR code. Comprising some fifty physical and contemplative exercises inspired by meditation and yoga, the trail helps us to rediscover and appreciate our sensory connection with nature. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several themed trails <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It includes hiking, yoga, meditation, mindful walking, Afghan walking, active meditation and meditative walking. Accessible independently, on your own or in a group, the trail invites you to follow different paths, each based on a specific theme, and to try out the exercises proposed in the workshops scattered along the route.<\/p>\n\n\n

The meditative exercises are open to everyone, from spring to autumn. The course consists of five stages and a progression through four successive passages, to discover or deepen the basics of contemplation. The \"Path of the Body\" (exploring bodily sensations), the \"Glade of the 5 Elements\" (invoking the energies and qualities of the 5 elements), the \"Path of the Breath\" (breathing and walking techniques), the \"Glade of Flowers\" (games and tests to develop attention) and the \"Path of the Heart\" (listening to your sensations and opening your heart and mind). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Focus on Dylan Mareau, the local designer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born on 1 May 1996, Dylan comes from Courchevel<\/a> and grew up in Savoie. From an early age, he has had a passion for the creative arts. His education led him to the Ecole de Cond\u00e9, where he took a Master's degree in Research & Innovation in Art Direction, graduating in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Courchevel town council then contacted him to design a \"well-being trail\" on the theme of meditation and yoga, in collaboration with Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric La Combe, a meditation instructor and leader of courses in the discovery and practice of mindfulness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And so the creation of the Sentier des Contemplations began in 2020. His creative and spiritual journey has led him to combine design and meditation to offer everyone a unique experience of contemplation and communion with nature.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
