A pleasant walk through the orchards of Laragne-Mont\u00e9glin, near Sisteron, to explore with the whole family, between the pebbles of the Bu\u00ebch and the apple trees. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A walk to discover how the Bu\u00ebch was domesticated and how fruit was grown on the gravel (iscles).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the Place de la Fontaine, take the road down towards Ribiers. Just before the bridge over the Bu\u00ebch, take the track on the right that runs alongside the dyke built to keep the Bu\u00ebch in its bed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A walk around the Bu\u00ebch <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You'll notice that the gentle curves of the track and the abundance of foliage make the walk more attractive than just reading the map would suggest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To your left, the Bu\u00ebch meanders in the bed that man has left for it: 100 metres wide, which it will occupy entirely when the snow melts, but only 5 to 10 metres in summer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a right-hand bend, the track joins a small tarmac road. Turn left to greet the town's oldest tree, the black poplar. The Bu\u00ebch enriches the region thanks to the alluvium deposited on the iscles from which it was pushed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
