Disengageable chairlifts are an advanced technology used in ski resorts to transport skiers and snowboarders to the top of the slopes. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They differ from fixed-grip chairlifts in their ability to slow down at the departure and arrival stations to make it easier for passengers to embark and disembark, while travelling at a higher speed along the route. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The heart of the disengageable system lies in its ability to \"disengage\" the seats from the main cable line. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the passengers are seated and the chairlift has left the departure station, it gradually accelerates to its cruising speed, which is considerably higher than that of a fixed-grip chairlift. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This acceleration is achieved by a system of pulleys and special mechanisms that \"reconnect\" the seat to the main cable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the journey, the detachable chairlift moves quickly, significantly reducing ascent times compared with fixed systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
