Property prices are rising all the time, and the mountains are not immune to this significant increase. In four French ski resorts, prices are sometimes in excess of \u20ac10,000 per square metre.2<\/sup>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Northern Alps stand out as the most expensive mountain range in France, with two resorts in the lead.<\/p>\n\n\n In first place, Val d'Is\u00e8re has an average price per square metre of \u20ac14,815.2<\/sup><\/strong>the reflection of the continuing appeal and prestige of the Is\u00e8re resort<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Courchevel comes second with an average price of \u20ac12,009\/m2<\/sup><\/strong>. These rates confirm the trend ofa wealthy clientele in search of the rare pearl<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Southern Alps recorded the biggest increase, with a rise of 6 % over the past year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
