To mark the occasion, a number of events are planned for the evening. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It's a symbol. On the very spot where it all began, in 1941, with the very first ski lift in the Serre Chevalier ski resort. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After two years of work, the Place du T\u00e9l\u00e9ph\u00e9rique is finally ready to be unveiled to the public. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The heart of the resort completely transformed <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gone are the days when the start of the pistes was paved, surrounded by cars and devoid of greenery. The heart of the resort has now been transformed into a truly attractive village square, accessible on skis from the emblematic Luc Alphand piste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An enlarged, calmer public space, featuring furniture made from sober, noble and natural materials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tree-lined Place du T\u00e9l\u00e9ph\u00e9rique and its pedestrian precincts will plunge you, as the resort promises, into a world of fun and excitement. <em>\"A green setting<\/em>\u00a0where you can<em> \"It's the perfect place to stroll, chat on a bench, sunbathe on a terrace or share the emotion of a show.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A great celestial show planned for the occasion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And to mark the inauguration of the new square, a huge celestial show will be organised. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From 6pm on Saturday 30 December, the Grupo Puja show will offer a 360\u00b0 experience of light and life, with young and old alike rubbing shoulders with the stars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>READ MORE:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/petit-montagnard.fr\/en\/serre-chevalier-key-winter-dates-and-events\/\">Serre Chevalier: The key dates and events of the winter season<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A celestial odyssey orchestrated in the air that <em>\"will flood the square with lights, stars and sparks.<\/em> depending on the station. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the same day, the new Arthur Bauchet piste, formerly known as the Cabane du Berger, will be officially inaugurated in the presence of the Serre Chevalier skier, who now has 8 Paralympic medals (including 3 gold), 16 World Championship medals (including 10 gold) and 16 Crystal Globes to his name. <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The mythical Chantemerle square, in Serre Chevalier, will be inaugurated on Saturday 30th December 2023.
