You won't be bored this winter in the 3 Vall\u00e9es. A host of new features have been announced. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the 3 Vall\u00e9es get ready to open the gates to their ski areas<\/a>Now it's time to take a look at what's new this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the least we can say is that the 3 Vall\u00e9es resorts have pulled out all the stops. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Courchevel: A cosy picnic room<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For a well-deserved break after exploring Courchevel's magnificent slopes, stop off at this brand new picnic room: set in a warm, recently renovated area, perfect for a warm snack break. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You'll find tables, chairs, a microwave oven, a glove dryer, free Wi-Fi and smartphone chargers. Everything you need to get back on the slopes in the 3 Valleys with complete peace of mind! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feeling peckish? Head to the snack bar at the Cabane du Skieur for an XXL healthy burger or take some time out to discover the new Italian restaurant Il Rifugio, with its view of the sublime Saulire as a bonus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access is from the top of the Verdons cable car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Courchevel (Le Nid de la Saulire): A New Cabin with a View<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Following on from the success of its first nest, installed just after the Col de la Loze, the latest in the series of nests has been set up at the summit of the Saulire.<\/p>\n\n\n

Perched high up in the mountains, these charming, pointed cabins are designed like real cocoons. At Le Nid de la Saulire, you can enjoy uninterrupted views over the Courchevel resort or admire the typical high mountain panorama with the Aiguille du Fruit in the background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access is from the top of the Vizelle, Saulire or Pas du Lac cable cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Courchevel: Head Slalom, a slalom course to put your curves to the test<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In partnership with the Head ski brand, Courchevel is inaugurating a new slalom, open throughout the winter season and accessible to skiers of all abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Head Slalom offers you a brand new area specially designed to let you experience the thrills of a downhill run between the poles, just like local champion Alexis Pinturault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access to the Head Slalom is at the bottom of the Dou du Midi piste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00e9ribel-Mottaret: A break in a giant hammock<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Situated in a small, unspoilt and little-known area, the Cabane du Lac is the ideal place for skiers looking for a pleasant break, whether for a warm picnic or simply to relax and enjoy the view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nestling in the heart of the Roc de la Tougne wilderness area, this former trackers' hut has something new in store for you this winter: as well as a welcoming indoor space, it now has a huge outdoor hammock for an outdoor relaxation session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This touch of originality and entertainment invites families and friends to share a moment of relaxation while marvelling at the splendour of the surrounding peaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To reach the Cabane du Lac, take the Julie piste, which can be reached by the Roc de Tougne chairlift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00e9ribel: On the trail of the hearts of M\u00e9ribel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To celebrate the emblem of M\u00e9ribel<\/a>In the heart of the 3 Vall\u00e9es, discover the splendid XXL-sized wooden hearts perched on the summits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These art installations are located on three of M\u00e9ribel's peaks and are the perfect vantage points for fans of Instagram, TikTok and other social networks, offering the opportunity to capture memorable moments that will create a sensation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can find them at the top of Mont Vallon, just 50 metres from the finish line, and at the top of Roc de Fer. The third is a secret. It's up to you to find out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00e9ribel: Elements Park gets a makeover<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Offering an experience that perfectly combines thrills, creativity and entertainment, whatever your age or level of skiing: that's the aim of this fresh approach to this fun area of the resort. M\u00e9ribel<\/a> !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comprising three levels, you'll be able to discover a whole host of activities. Starting with the Bumpy Run, a series of whoops, bumps and snow waves designed to test your speed and balance.<\/p>\n\n\n

Not forgetting the Funny Run, a succession of arches, mini boxes and easy modules, ideal for improving your agility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There's also the Speedy Run boarder cross. Accessible to all, this track lets you challenge your friends, negotiate banked bends and jump for a thrilling experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00e9ribel: Yeti Park and Yooni get a facelift<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This winter, Yeti Park, a popular ski area for children and adults alike, is getting some new features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new relaxation area next to the ski lift, a giant xylophone for experimenting with the sounds made by your ski poles, and new tunnel slides specially designed for the youngest skiers, to go down without skis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What's more, the mascot will be making regular appearances on the snow fronts in the late afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00e9ribel: Safety and cutting-edge technology<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This winter, the Combes chairlift at M\u00e9ribel Mottaret<\/a> will be equipped with an automatic system to check that customers are boarding correctly at each seat on departure and at the intermediate station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This system, based on image detection, is able to determine whether the chairlift is occupied and whether the guardrail is open. If this is the case, the chairlift operator can automatically activate the lowering of the guardrail!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peace of mind for parents, who will be able to allow their children to take full advantage of Yeti Park's play area in complete safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Val Thorens\/Orelle (La Cime Caron): A panoramic thrill at the summit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cime Caron, the emblematic summit of the 3 Vall\u00e9es ski area, is a must-see during your ski holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This winter, Val Thorens is inaugurating a panoramic footbridge leading to a rotunda suspended in mid-air, so you can take full advantage of this exceptional panorama while adding a touch of adrenalin.<\/p>\n\n\n

You can admire a 360-degree view and use an orientation table to help you find your way around this vast \"white paradise\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This panoramic footbridge marks the start of a future complex due to open in winter 2025\/2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les M\u00e9nuires\/Saint-Martin (La Pointe de la Masse) : Behind the scenes of a ski lift<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Would you like to go behind the scenes of the engine room at La Pointe de la Masse and explore the different stages, from construction to operation? Now you can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This interactive museum even features a LEGO\u00ae model and guided tours led by experts to reveal the secrets of this precision engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access is via the Pointe de la Masse cable car, during opening hours. Free access for pedestrians and skiers with a valid lift pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les M\u00e9nuires\/Saint-Martin (La Mine): historic rail sledging<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Les Menuires rail luge has been given a makeover, choosing to combine the spirit of the region's old mines with this exciting descent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
