L'Art au Sommet is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year with works by artist Jim\u00e9nez Deredia. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This season, eight monumental sculptures and photographic reproductions of the Costa Rican artist's works will adorn Courchevel, in iconic locations in the world's ski capital. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through his colossal sculptures in marble and bronze, the artist expresses a singular vision, reincarnating the heritage of Costa Rican culture in a captivating artistic harmony. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sculptures with sensual curves that bring together the concepts of eternity, cosmos and fertility, evoking the timelessness of the universe... 8 bewitching creations that will invite visitors to explore their spirituality during a walk in Courchevel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'Art au Sommet has become a not-to-be-missed event over the years, thanks to the joint efforts of Galeries Bartoux and the Courchevel Town Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim is to make art accessible to as many people as possible, by offering skiers a unique experience combining sport and artistic immersion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gamble paid off, with exhibitions devoted to some of the biggest names in the art world, including Salvador Dal\u00ed, Michel Bassompierre, Richard Orlinski, Lorenzo Quinn and Julien Marinetti. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key dates <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Reception of the 8 works<\/strong> between the 28 and 30 November 2023<\/strong>. The statues will be installed<\/strong> in the presence of the artist in the village of Courchevel 1850 and on the slopes between the 4 and 7 December 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening of the exhibition<\/strong> in the presence of Jim\u00e9nez Deredia will take place on Friday 5 January 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 18 January 2023 to 18 April 2024<\/strong>Visitors will be able to discover all the secrets of Deredia<\/strong> and behind the scenes of this exhibition in small groups with a guide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
