Compagnie des Alpes (CDA) is a French company specialising in the operation of ski resorts and leisure parks. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 1989, it was formed from the merger of several companies operating ski resorts in the French Alps. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initial aim was to develop and operate ski resorts more efficiently, by pooling resources and skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has become one of the world's leading leisure companies, managing some of the largest and most popular ski resorts in Europe, including Tignes, Val d'Is\u00e8re, Les Arcs, La Plagne and many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 1990s and 2000s, CDA diversified its activities by acquiring leisure parks such as Parc Ast\u00e9rix in 2002, the Gr\u00e9vin group (which includes the famous Gr\u00e9vin wax museum) in 2001, and several other parks in France and Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compagnie des Alpes' strategy has focused on continuously improving the customer experience, by investing in infrastructure, technology and service quality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
