Another important fact is that high-altitude resorts attracted more visitors, with a strong increase of +10 % compared with +2 % for mid-mountain resorts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rising prices in prestigious resorts <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The appeal of the mountains is reflected in the property market, which is mainly made up of second homes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prices in Savoie Mont Blanc's mid-range mountains, for example, stand at \u20ac4,500 per square metre.<sup>2<\/sup> and up to \u20ac10,000\/m<sup>2<\/sup>&nbsp;in renowned resorts such as Avoriaz, Chamonix and La Clusaz. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In luxury resorts such as Meg\u00e8ve, Courchevel, M\u00e9ribel and Val d'Is\u00e8re, the average price is \u20ac20,000 per square metre.<sup>2<\/sup>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2022, no fewer than 40,111 homes were sold in the d\u00e9partements of Ain, Savoie and Haute-Savoie.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to the National Federation of Estate Agents (Fnaim) Savoie Mont Blanc, figures for mountain holiday rentals are on the rise.
