On Monday 11 August, the 2 Alps hosts the 5ᵉ edition of the "Parcourez, Savourez, Soutenez" dinner walk, an event combining nature, gastronomy and solidarity in aid of children with severe illnesses.
Organised by the association "Garde le sourire, on est là!", this unique walk offers an accessible 10km route linking the Place de Venosc to the Lac de la Buissonnière, punctuated by gourmet stops.
Participants discover local flavours thanks to restaurateurs and producers from the Oisans region: snacks, aperitifs, starters, main course, cheese and dessert, all cooked with fresh seasonal produce.
An event with a big heart
The funds raised this year will go to "Andréa, on est là", an association born out of the struggle of Andréa, a little girl with severe epilepsy and a motor disability, and to "La Vie et Rose", supporting 3-year-old Rose, who suffers from a rare genetic disease. These donations will be used to fund adapted medical equipment and promote research.
"I've realised that my resort has heart. To be followed by friends, family and loyal holidaymakers is really heart-warming. In human terms, it's been a wonderful adventure! says Franck Sampers, chairman of the organising association.
The walk, open to all, is designed to be family-friendly and accessible thanks to the free Venosc cable car. Latecomers or the less sporty can join in the festivities directly at the Buissonnière lake to enjoy the final delicacies and a free concert by the group Girl's Talk at 9pm. A male quartet revisiting the 100 % female classics with humour and energy.
